Editorial standards

Accuracy before coverage

We do not publish invented specifications, ownership experience, quotations, ratings or claims of hands-on testing. An article remains unpublished when its evidence is insufficient. We distinguish measured facts from manufacturer claims, reviewer opinion and our own buyer-oriented reasoning. A specification table is maintained centrally so an update does not leave different pages reporting different values.

Original analysis and attribution

Reviews synthesize evidence into original language and credit the sources readers need to assess the reasoning. We do not reproduce another publication's review or inherit its score. Agreement between two reviewers is described narrowly; it does not prove universal agreement among owners. Retailer demonstrations can be useful but their commercial context must remain visible.

Commercial relationships

Commercial links or sponsorship must be disclosed when present. Payment must not determine a review conclusion or a placement presented as an editorial recommendation. A future affiliate relationship requires a visible disclosure near applicable links and an updated disclosure page. We do not promise that every referenced external publication is free of commercial interests.

Scope of an update

A corrected specification, new model generation or changed price can alter a recommendation. Substantial revisions should explain the material change. Stylistic edits alone do not justify presenting old research as newly verified. Every article should be readable without assuming the reader knows our internal research process.
